The successful full-time attendance of at least two years of the technical college (in part-time form the duration is extended accordingly) leads to a degree as a state-certified technician in the respective field:

• Environmental protection technology
• Environmental protection (additional qualification)

The technical college leads - based on an initial professional qualification and an additional one-year, practical professional activity - to professional specialization and greater theoretical penetration of professional expertise. The action- and project-oriented learning process takes place in learning modules.

After successful completion of all learning modules, for which there are also individual certificates, and after passing the final examination in two learning modules, the graduates receive a final certificate. The degree entitles you to study at a university of applied sciences in Rhineland-Palatinate.

After participation in an additional Fachschulreifeunterricht with subsequent Fachhochschulreifeprüfung, the nationwide valid Fachhochschulreife can be acquired.
