Apply for restructuring aid
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThe EU-funded restructuring program offers interested winegrowers an opportunity to adapt their vineyards to modern technology and future market requirements when replanting.
To obtain EU funding, the area to be funded must be applied for in the Part 1 application (in May and September of the previous year) prior to the measure. Permission to remove the vines is granted after the on-site inspection has been carried out. The planned measure is notified with application part 2 in January. After implementation, the notification of completion is issued. A notification is issued after a positive inspection.

The district administration is responsible for this.
- Registration with the district administration
- Registration in the Wine Information Portal (WIP) of the Chamber of Agriculture
- A Chamber of Agriculture company number is required.
Complete application parts 1 and 2 online in the WIP of the Chamber of Agriculture. Submit the printout to the responsible district administration.
There are no fees.
Submission part 1: 31.05. and 30.09.
Submission part 2: 31.01.
