Applying for admission to a section of the medical examination

- six years of medical studies at a university or equivalent institution of higher education. The final year of the course comprises 48 weeks of continuous practical training (practical year), which can also be completed part-time,
- training in first aid,
- a nursing service of three months,
- a clinical traineeship of four months and
- the medical examination, which is completed in three stages.
In order to complete your medical training, you must successfully pass the medical examination before the authority responsible for you. This is a prerequisite for licensure as a doctor.
You must apply for admission to the relevant section of the medical examination at the office responsible for you.
The first section of the medical examination is taken after studying medicine for two years. The second section of the medical examination is taken after studying medicine for three years after passing the first section of the medical examination. The third section of the medical examination is taken after studying medicine for one year after passing the second section of the medical examination.
