Change approved funds for research and evaluation projects or for institutional funding in the context of development cooperation

You can notify us of a change to your funded research and evaluation project or institutional funding online or by post.

If you wish to notify the change online:

• Discuss the need for change with the BMZ.
• Go to the website of the Federal Portal and complete the form online.
• Upload the required documents and submit the application online.
• The BMZ will check your documents.

If you wish to submit the change by post:

• Discuss the need for change with the BMZ.
• Send your informal application to the BMZ by post together with a justification for the change, a description of your overall project and, if applicable, the new financing plan.
• The BMZ will check your documents.

If the BMZ recognizes your changes, you will receive an approval from the BMZ.

In the event of a change in the financing requirement, you will also receive a payment or a reclaim from the BMZ after the interim or utilization certificates have been checked.

The BMZ will fund your research and evaluation project or you will receive institutional funding from the BMZ.

There are no costs.
