Request funds for an approved project from the "Project or institutional funding" funding program

As soon as you have received a grant notification from the BMZ for a project-related or institutional grant, you can apply for payment of the funds online or by post. Please note that the BMZ can only process your application for funding once the 4-week deadline for appeal has expired or you inform the BMZ that you waive your right to appeal.

Requesting funding online:

• Go to the website of the Federal Portal and complete the online form. This will guide you step by step through the required information.
• Upload the required documents or provide them as a download link and submit the form online.

Request funding by post:

• Request the informal application by post or e-mail from the BMZ.
• Complete this application.
• Send your application together with the required documents by post to the BMZ.

The BMZ will check your application and contact you if anything is unclear or information is missing. Otherwise you will receive the funding.

There are no costs.
