Smoking ban in restaurants in Rhineland-Palatinate

Smoking ban in gastronomy in Rhineland-Palatinate has been in place since 15.02.2008
Exceptions:
- in separate adjoining rooms, if the floor area and the number of seats in the adjoining rooms with smoking permit are not greater than in the other smoke-free guest rooms
- in one-room restaurants under 75 m², if no or only simply prepared food is administered in the restaurant for consumption on the spot as a subordinate ancillary service
- in marquees with a service life of up to 21 days
