As an applicant for the acquisition of licenses or ratings in accordance with "Part-FCL" (Flight Crew Licensing), you can apply to the Luftfahrt-Bundesamt (LBA) for the appointment of an examiner for your examination.

This is a case-by-case decision that deviates from the normal procedure (examiner pool). You can only apply for a corresponding individual appointment if no examiner pool has been approved for the approved training organization (ATO) or if no examiner from the examiner pool is available in the near future.

The pool of examiners is a list of approved examiners who are authorized to conduct practical examinations at an approved "ATO".
