Extend trademark protection
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThe term of protection of a registered trademark begins on the filing date and ends 10 years later. If the trademark was registered before January 14, 2019, the ten-year term of protection ends at the end of the month in which the filing date falls.
You can extend the trademark protection as often as you like for 10 years at a time.
The extension takes effect on the day after the last term of protection expires. It is entered in the register and published. The term of protection can be extended for all goods and services or only for some of them. If the term of protection is not extended, the trademark right expires.
