Providing data for science

• Go to the website of the Research Data Centers of the Federal Statistical Office and the Statistical Offices of the Federal States.
• You can submit the application online or as a paper application.
• Online form:
  • Click on "Online application" and complete the form. Send it electronically.
• Paper application:
  • Click on "Paper application". Download the application form, fill it out and send it by post or e-mail to the Federal Statistical Office.
• After a successful review, the Research Data Centers of the Federal and State Statistical Offices will conclude a contract of use with your institution.
• You will receive the requested access to the data.

You represent a scientific institution with the task of independent scientific research.

Application for use

The use of the data is subject to a fee. The amount of the fee depends on the number of statistics requested.

You do not have to meet any deadlines.
