Registering a broadcasting fee in the non-private sector
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzIn the non-private sector, you must pay a broadcasting fee for each permanent establishment, taking into account the number of employees. For this purpose, the registration with the competent authority is necessary.
Registration with the competent authority is unsolicited. As soon as you start a permanent establishment company, think about the registration, which you can easily carry out online.

You are the owner of a permanent establishment or have motor vehicles subject to contributions.
The following information is required to register:
- the company name and address of the person liable for contribution and his legal representative,
- Current address of each permanent establishment
- last address of the contributor notified to the Landesrundfunkanstalt
- the full name of the holder of the permanent establishment,
- number of employees at the establishment,
- Contribution number
- the date of commencement of ownership of the permanent establishment or of the motor vehicle subject to contributions,
- Indication of industry or institution affiliation
- Number of hotels and guest rooms and holiday apartments subject to contributions
- Number and place of registration of motor vehicles subject to contributions
The fee to be paid depends on the number of employees in addition to the holder.
You can register your permanent establishment online
Non-profit institutions for disabled people, youth welfare, addicts, non-profit associations and foundations as well as public general or vocational schools are exempt from the obligation to pay contributions.
Likewise, you do not have to pay a broadcasting fee for permanent establishments that do not provide a workplace.
