Notify changes in the professional register for tax advisors

If there are changes to a tax consultant, tax agent or professional practice, they must notify the Chamber of Tax Consultants. After notification, these are entered in the professional register.

The Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Tax Consultants is responsible for tax consultants, tax agents and professional practice companies with a professional establishment or registered office in Rhineland-Palatinate.

The facts to be entered or deleted in the professional register for tax consultants must be notified to the competent Chamber of Tax Consultants.

In principle, an informal notification is sufficient.

However, professional practice companies must enclose a copy of the relevant deed and the entry in the register of companies with the notification in the event of a change of registered office. One of the two aforementioned documents must be submitted in officially certified form. The register court entry can also be submitted as an official printout from the court.

There are no fees.

Notifications to the professional register must be made without delay. Timely notification ensures that the professional register kept by the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Tax Consultants is always up to date.

Special feature for professional practice companies: The Chamber of Tax Consultants of Rhineland-Palatinate must be notified within one month of any changes to the partnership agreement, the articles of association, the shareholders or the authorized representatives, provided that the registered office of the company is in the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate.

Timely notifications ensure that the professional register kept by the Rhineland-Palatinate Chamber of Tax Consultants is always up to date. This increases the quality of information from the professional register in the interests of all parties involved. In addition, certain data from the professional register is forwarded to the power of attorney database. Using the power of attorney database, professional practice companies and tax consultants can electronically prove their authorization to represent their clients to the tax authorities and also retrieve data.
