Auctioning food and perishable goods in the itinerant trade

If the products to be auctioned are foodstuffs and other perishable goods and you want to auction them in a traveling trade, you can apply for an exemption.
Perishable goods quickly lose their quality. These include, for example
- fresh fruit
- vegetables
- Fish and meat
- dairy products
- Flowers and plants
If food and goods would spoil or lose quality without the auction, the competent authority may grant you an exemption from the auctioning permit.
In order to auction perishable products in a traveling trade, you need a traveling trade permit. This allows you to operate commercially outside your place of business.
