If you wish to manufacture, process and repair weapons or ammunition without making a profit, you require a non-commercial weapons manufacturing permit.

The weapons manufacturing permit is limited to the firearms or types of ammunition applied for.

To apply, you will need a passport or identity card, a certificate of competence and proof of knowledge of materials, manufacturing and ballistics.

You can obtain the non-commercial firearms manufacturing license as follows:

The non-commercial firearms manufacturing license will be issued or sent to you.

You may be issued a non-commercial firearms manufacturing license if you

do not wish to make a profit
wish to manufacture, process or repair firearms or firearm parts
are 18 years old (under 25 years old with an expert opinion)
are reliable and personally suitable within the meaning of the Weapons Act (WaffG)
have a certificate of competence
provide proof of knowledge of materials, manufacturing and ballistics
be able to provide proof of storage
