Apply for a certificate of deletion/non-registration from the aircraft register

To obtain a certificate of deletion or non-registration, please proceed as follows:

• Go to the federal portal verwaltung.bund.de and complete the online application.
• You can upload your documents directly.
• After processing by the authorities, you will receive a notification and a fee notice.
• Once you have paid the fees, you can retrieve the certificate of deletion or non-registration.

• You must be the owner of an aircraft.
• You can also submit the application as a representative for the owner.
• In order to obtain a certificate of deletion, the aircraft must already be deleted from the aircraft register.
• In order to obtain a certificate of non-registration, you must have an aircraft that has not yet been entered in the aircraft register.

Documents required for private individuals, sole proprietors or organizations that do not have their place of residence or registered office in Germany:

• Authorization to serve and receive documents

Documents required for the representation of private individuals or sole proprietors or sole traders or the application or representation of companies, associations, civil law partnerships (GbRs):

• Proof of authorization to represent your organization

Documents required for a community of owners:

• Consent of the owners

Documents required for a certificate of deletion if the current owner was not registered as the owner in the aircraft register at the time of deletion

• Proof of the transfer of ownership, e.g. purchase contract, confirmation of purchase or bill of sale
