Requesting information from the aircraft register
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzBy requesting information from the aircraft register, you can obtain information on specific aircraft.
As a non-public body, you must justify your interest in the requested data and provide relevant documentation.
The following data is stored in the aircraft register:
- Type and model of aircraft and airframe serial number,
- Nationality and registration mark of the aircraft,
- number of the sheet of the aircraft register,
- if necessary, the name of the register sheet of the register of liens on aircraft,

the name and address of the owner
- for natural persons: Surname, first name and address,
- for legal entities and companies under commercial law: company name and address,

additionally in the case of several owners:
- fractional shares of the entitled persons or the legal relationship relevant to the community
- a representative authorized by the entitled persons,

in special circumstances, the name and domicile or registered office of the aircraft owner may also be stored if a foreign owner applies:
- Lessor of the aircraft for a period of more than 6 months or
- security or reserved owner or owner
- regular location of the aircraft,
- information on its intended use,
- information on engine or propeller type, equipment and emergency equipment and on inspections carried out on the aircraft,
- information on noise protection,
- details of liability insurance,
- Name and address of the operator, if this person is not also the owner.
In addition, identification of the aircraft for which information is to be provided is required.
