Apply for subsidies for additional benefits
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzEmployees who have been completely exempted from work in accordance with § 3 of the Nursing Time Act or whose employment has been reduced to marginal employment can apply for subsidies for health and long-term care insurance.
For a short-term prevention of work under the Care Time Act, employees are entitled to compensation for lost pay if they cannot claim continued payment of remuneration from the employer and no sickness or injury benefit in the event of illness or accident of a child. This applies for up to 10 working days. If several employees make use of this benefit for a close relative in need of care, it applies for a maximum of 10 working days in total.
Farmers can receive farm assistance under the above conditions (200 euros per day for up to 10 days).
