Disabled children and young people at school
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThe Rhineland-Palatinate School Act (SchulG) of 30.3.2004 enshrines the goal of equal participation of disabled children and young people: This means that disabled pupils should in principle attend the same schools together with non-disabled pupils if the material, spatial, personnel and organisational conditions are in place.
The special interests of disabled pupils must be taken into account in the design of lessons and also in the assessment and assessment of performance; corresponding regulations are formulated for all types of schools in the school regulations for the individual types of school.
