In 2011, the European Union (EU) standardized the regulations for pilot licenses for the entire EU area. As a result, licenses had to be transferred and converted to the new regulations.

If you have an older license, this does not necessarily mean that you have to take the exam again. Instead, you must apply to the relevant licensing authority for your license to be converted.

Additional training may be required. Your competent training organization can determine the scope of this training.

The competent authority will convert flight licenses to Part-FCL licenses if the required conditions of the corresponding conversion report are met.
