Tuition fee exemption

Some federal states contribute to the costs of providing university study places to students at their universities.

In Rhineland-Palatinate, no general tuition fees are currently charged for students at state universities for a first degree. This means that a first Bachelor's degree and a first consecutive Master's degree can be studied free of charge.

Fees may apply in individual cases at universities under other sponsorships.
