Sportbootführerschein Binnen Motor (SBF)

Recreational boat driving licences are certificates of competence and entitlement for the driving of recreational craft. Depending on the scope of application as well as the type of use and drive of the vehicle, different recreational boat driving licences are required. The sport boat license distinguishes between the areas of engine and sail.

The official sport boat licence Binnen Motor (SBF Binnen Motor) entitles you to drive pleasure craft with a motor up to 15 m in length on the inland waterways and other waters navigable by motorboats.

It is mandatory for vehicles under engine with more than 3.68 kW (5 hp).
Minimum age: 16 years
