In order to strengthen networking and digitization in rural areas, the federal state of Rhineland-Palatinate provides its citizens and their municipalities with the so-called DorfFunk app and the Information Platform DorfNews free of charge.

DorfFunk app: With this app, citizens can easily communicate search queries and offers of help in "their village" or simply exchange ideas with each other.

DorfNews: Through this local online portal, citizens receive news and information about events, events, traffic and weather in your region. Citizens can also provide contributions themselves as part of the app.
