Bar license

• is required to temporarily serve alcoholic beverages for consumption outside public pubs and restaurants
• A permit is limited in time to the planned event and can be revoked at any time

Application

• by means of an application
  • in person, in writing, by fax or by e-mail
  • will be sent to the applicant by post or e-mail on request
• should be sent at least 4 weeks before the event

For events

in buildings that are not restaurants / places of assembly:

• the consent of the owner must be obtained
• the requirements of building law must be met
  • the approval of the building inspectorate and the fire department is required

on private land:

• the consent of the property owner must be obtained
• loudspeakers, sound reproduction devices, musical instruments and similar devices may only be used at such a volume that uninvolved persons are not significantly disturbed or the natural environment is not impaired
• In individual cases, the public order office may grant exemptions upon request
• if there is a large number of visitors, the Office for Fire, Civil Protection and Rescue Services must be informed in good time

in public areas:

• a special use permit must be applied for from the Public Order Office
• a permit must be obtained from the Public Order Office for collections of money and donations in kind
• loudspeakers, sound reproduction devices, musical instruments and similar devices may only be used at a volume that does not significantly disturb uninvolved persons or impair the natural environment
• if there are large numbers of visitors, the Office for Fire, Civil Protection and Rescue Services must be informed in good time
