During this consultation, the necessaryrequirements for receiving assistancecan alsobe clarified. Assistance to overcome particular socialdifficulties is a subordinate benefit. For this reason, you willalso be informed during the consultation about other, priority benefits thatmust be taken first.If youmeet thefollowingrequirements,assistance to overcome particular socialdifficultiesmaybe grantedundercertain circumstances:
- Special living conditions:
- no or insufficient housing
- unsecured economic livelihood
- Living conditions characterized by violence
- Discharge from a closed institution
- Comparable disadvantageous circumstances
- Social difficulties:
- Maintaining or obtaining housing
- Finding a job
- Obtaining a job
- Family or othersocial relationships
- delinquency
If you meet these requirements and no otherbenefits are possible, you canreceivethe followingbenefits, for example:
- Counseling and personal support, also for relatives
- Measures to obtain and maintain ahome
- Assistance in obtaining and securing a job
- Assistance with school or vocational training
- Cash and non-cash benefits are possible, e.g. health insurance contributions, clothing allowance or pocket money forinpatientaccommodation
