Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzMost local authorities and independent providers, such as youth groups and associations, offer extensive and varied vacation activities, especially during the summer vacations, but also during other school-free periods.
The platform www.ferienboerse-rlp.de, for example, is an exchange for vacation offers from non-commercial providers in the field of extracurricular youth work. Here you can, among other things
- ski trips,
- soccer camps,
- tent camp ,
- or various youth trips to Italy, Sweden or France.
Many of these activities are also funded by the state ("Holiday care in Rhineland-Palatinate" funding) and are aimed specifically at primary and lower secondary school children.
The open child and youth work service organizes day and vacation activities for children and young people during all school vacations and on all bridge days.
With the extended offer, the needs of children of working or single parents in particular are taken into account. There is also the option of fringe-time childcare from 7.00 - 8.00 a.m. and from 4.00 - 5.00 p.m., subject to a sufficient number of registrations.
With its vacation program "Ferienalarm", the OKUJA makes a major contribution to strengthening the town of Bad Neuenahr-Ahrweiler as a youth and family-friendly location, promoting the compatibility of family and career and strengthening the voluntary commitment of young people.
