If you move out of a secondary residence and do not move into another residence in Germany, you must deregister for this residence.

Special information for District-free City Koblenz

According to the latest changes in the law, the deregistration of the secondary residence may again be officially carried out at the registration office of the secondary residence,

but it may also continue to be carried out at the registration office of the future sole or main residence, e.g. a secondary residence in Koblenz may again be deregistered at the Koblenz registration office.

Paid parking spaces are available in the parking garage Forum Mittelrhein and in the parking garage Schängel-Center.

Bicycles, scooters and parking facilities
It is not permitted to bring bicycles or scooters onto the premises of the Bürgeramt. Suitable parking spaces are available in the immediate vicinity, e.g. in Gymnasialstraße (opposite the Bürgeramt), at Willi-Hörter-Platz and at the Schängel-Center.

Animals in the Bürgeramt
Please note that dogs and other pets are not permitted in the Bürgeramt. Assistance dogs are of course exempt from this rule.
