Yellow bin registration

All sales packaging that is not made of paper or glass belongs in the yellow bin. This applies, for example, to:

• Plastic packaging (e.B cups, disposable bottles, films, bags, polystyrene)
• Composite packaging (e.B beverage cartons, blisters)
• Metal packaging (e.B. cans, lids, screw caps)

The packaging does not have to be cleaned, but must be "spoon-clean". Heavily soiled and refilled packaging belongs in the residual waste.

The registration, deregistration and re-registration of the yellow bin can only be made by the property owner.A new registration after moving into a property must in any case be made in writing.

An alternative to the Yellow Bin are the Yellow Recycling Bags, which are available free of charge and in a certain contingent at individual dispensaries in each district municipality.
