Aid Animal Disease Fund

If an epidemic is suspected, you must inform the veterinary office of the local district administration and a vet immediately.
The application for aid must be submitted with the necessary documents to the veterinary office of the responsible district administration.

The complete application must be received by the veterinary office no later than 30 days after the occurrence of the damage.

The prerequisite for the granting of aid is, in particular, that you as the owner of the animals

• have stated the correct number of animals in your notification to the Animal Disease Fund
• have paid the contributions to the Animal Disease Fund on time,
• consulted a vet in good time and informed the veterinary office of the outbreak of a disease/disease,
• have had the disease confirmed by a veterinarian (e.g. by an expert opinion or an examination report),
• have documented the losses (e.g. by means of slaughter certificates).

In addition to the standard aid, applications for voluntary aid can also be submitted. The Assembly of Representatives of the Animal Disease Fund decides on these applications.
