Contact the social welfare office of your district or your district-free city.
Appointments to submit applications and documents can be made during the opening hours of the district administration at our service point in room 14 (ground floor) without prior appointment.
The benefits of the basic security begin with the application. There are no additional payments for periods prior to the application. The basic security benefit is regularly approved for 12 calendar months and then reviewed. If the personal or financial circumstances change during the approval period, the changes must be notified. Increased benefits will be paid at the earliest from the first of the month in which the notification of change was made.
