Deregistering a company for tax purposes

You should notify the tax office in writing of the cessation (discontinuation) or relocation of your business or activity.

If further steps are required, the tax office will initiate these (e.g. adjustment of advance payments).

Contact the tax office responsible for you.

This is generally the tax office to which you must submit your tax return or, in the case of a separate assessment of business income, the assessment declaration.
