Apply for benefits under the Asylum Seekers Benefits Act
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzOn application, the Asylum Seekers' Benefits Act ensures that the necessary requirements for food, accommodation, heating, clothing, healthcare, household consumer goods and necessities as well as requirements to cover personal needs in daily life are met, if the person entitled to apply is not in a position to cover these from their own resources.
Furthermore, necessary benefits are provided in the event of illness, pregnancy and birth. If the local authority has not joined the framework agreement of the state of Rhineland-Palatinate, it issues its own treatment vouchers for medical or dental treatment and also settles these directly with the service provider.
In the district of Neuwied, the implementation of the AsylbLG is partly delegated to the Neuwied municipal administration and the association municipalities

- and services in a special kindergarten or day care center for the disabled
