Housing promotion: residential groups and shared flats
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzCommunal living is becoming increasingly important. It is therefore important to support new forms of housing, preferably in barrier-free apartments.
Self-determined living is still the top priority for most people - not only for older people with care needs, but also for people with disabilities.
Support for residential groups is intended to enable older people with care needs, people of legal age who require care and people of legal age with disabilities to live independently.
The loan offer is aimed at investors who create shared apartments for assisted living groups.
The funding program was supplemented by abandoning the strict link to residential groups in accordance with the State Act on Forms of Housing and Participation (LWTG).
The funding for shared flats provides financial support for the construction of shared apartments for older people, trainees and students.
The recipient of the funding undertakes to only rent to households that meet the specified income limits and not to charge more than the maximum rent stipulated in the administrative regulation, which is regularly below the market rent level.
Note:
There is no legal entitlement to funding.
