Hospice work and palliative care
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzWhen there is no longer any prospect of a cure, people with serious illnesses need so-called palliative care. The focus is no longer on the healing process itself, but on the further best possible preservation of the still existing quality of life of the patient. Through a holistic attention to his wishes and needs, he should live in a familiar environment and in dignity until the end. In principle, palliative care is possible at any location and can also be provided on a voluntary basis.
