Remove waste water
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzWastewater disposal includes the collection, transportation, treatment, discharge, seepage, irrigation and trickling of wastewater and rainwater.
The disposal of sludge from small sewage treatment plants and the emptying and transportation of the contents of drainless pits are also part of the job.
Please contact your city or municipal administration.
Note: These may transfer the wastewater disposal obligation or its implementation to other public bodies such as special-purpose associations.
This responsibility is incumbent on the independent cities, the independent municipalities and the association municipalities as a mandatory task of self-administration.
Wastewater charges are levied on the basis of municipal statutes. The amount varies locally.
The following are exempt from the public disposal obligation:
1. wastewater generated in agriculture that can be applied without impairing the public good and in accordance with the provisions of water law, nature conservation law, waste law and immission control law.
2. precipitation water, if
a) no approved public wastewater facilities are available for its disposal and
b) it can be recycled on the property on which it accumulates or can be infiltrated or otherwise disposed of without impairing the public good.
