If you are an entrepreneur suffering from the economic consequences of the novel coronavirus, various support options may be available to you. To find out about the possibilities, you can contact the Federal Ministry of Economics, among others.

On its website, the Federal Ministry of Economics provides information on the available instruments and has set up a hotline for business-related questions concerning the coronavirus.

Possible support includes, for example

• Loans and other financial assistance for short-term liquidity needs,
• guarantees,
• short-time allowances and
• other instruments.

Small and medium-sized enterprises, micro-enterprises and solo self-employed persons can also receive support.

The Kreditanstalt für Wiederaufbau (KfW) also provides information on loan options for affected companies. If you have any questions about short-time allowance, you can contact the Federal Employment Agency.
