Applying for a special use permit for advertising in public spaces

Source: BUS Rheinland-Pfalz

Advertising outside enclosed spaces or in public areas constitutes outdoor advertising.

If you want to advertise something outside enclosed spaces or in public areas, for example by putting up posters, this constitutes a use that goes beyond the normal use of public space (common use). This is a special use for which you must apply for a permit (special use permit). You must have the special use permit before you start advertising.
