Dangerous goods: transport
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThere are international regulations for the transport of dangerous goods, which generally guarantee the safe transport of these sensitive goods. The regulations are continuously reviewed and further developed taking into account scientific and technical findings. Particular attention shall be paid to the classification, packaging and marking of dangerous goods, the construction, equipment and inspection of vehicles and tanks, as well as the training of dangerous goods advisers, drivers and other persons involved in the transport of dangerous goods. An adjustment to current developments takes place every two years. This includes, for example, the definition of a specific transport route within the framework of the Dangerous Goods Ordinance Road, Rail and Inland Waterway Transport (GGVSEB).
