Extend your residence permit
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzA residence permit can also be extended under certain conditions.
Every foreigner, with the exception of EU citizens, requires a corresponding residence permit for a long-term stay in Germany.
A personal visit to the Foreigners' Registration Office is required for the order. Beforehand, please send the completed application form by post or email.
Applications submitted by email must be scanned legibly and sent in PDF format. Applications that are not legible (photographed) cannot be processed.
You will then receive an appointment in writing. In addition, it is necessary to submit a valid passport, a biometric passport photo, proof of health insurance in Germany and proof of means of subsistence (employment contract and proof of salary for the last three months or job center notification).
Further documents will be requested by the Immigration Office if necessary and must be submitted immediately.
