Bulky waste disposal
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzBulky waste can be disposed of
- by collection
- by personal delivery to a central location
can take place.
There are no "door-to-door" bulky waste collections in the Donnersberg district; bulky items are disposed of "on call". This service is free of charge for citizens.
Private households can register the collection of bulky items with the district administration twice a year or alternatively deliver the bulky waste to the Eisenberg district waste disposal site themselves free of charge. It is also possible to have the bulky waste collected once a year and deliver it once a year.
If you opt for the collection option, please note the following:
- You can register directly here using our online form. You are also welcome to use our registration form and send it to us by post or fax or call us (see responsible staff).
- The exact collection point must be specified.
- Collection will take place within a maximum period of 6 weeks after registration. You will receive written notification of the collection date from Remondis.
- Wood, metal, electrical and residual bulky waste must be placed separately for collection, please do not mix everything up.
- The quantity limit of 4 m³ in total must be observed.
- Individual items may not be longer/wider than 1.70 m and heavier than 50 kg (exception: mattresses and white goods). Please dismantle large items of furniture.
- Bulky waste must be ready by 6 a.m. at the latest.
If you have any questions about the collection date, please contact Remondis on 06244 / 91976917
2nd option: Drop off bulky waste yourself
Alternatively, bulky waste can also be deposited free of charge twice a year at the Eisenberg district landfill site. It is not possible to drop off waste at the Winnweiler and Mannweiler-Cölln landfill sites.
The current opening hours of the Eisenberg district landfill site can be found under Landfills
Please note that an identity card must be presented for registration purposes.
If large and heavy items are brought in, a second person should be present to sort bulky waste items into the appropriate containers. Pre-sorting into wood, metal, electrical and residual bulky waste is therefore advisable. The premises should be vacated by the end of opening hours.
PLEASE NOTE:
Refrigerators and freezers, heat pumps, heat pump dryers and oil radiators do not belong to bulky waste.
These appliances can be registered for collection free of charge by calling Becker on 06303 / 804-220.
