The certificate of completion certifies that apartments or other rooms are self-contained within the meaning of the German Condominium Act. It is required (in addition to the partition plan) for the entry of the ownership shares in the land register.
To the competent lower building supervisory authority, i.e. the district administration, in independent and large towns belonging to the district the municipal administration or the association of municipalities if it has been assigned building supervisory tasks (Diez and Konz association of municipalities).
Construction drawing (floor plans, sections, views) in at least duplicate (at least on a scale of 1:100), which shows in particular how the common and special property are located in relation to each other and are separated from each other, and that the apartments or other rooms are self-contained. All individual rooms belonging to the same condominium etc. must be given the same number in the construction drawing.
Per separate property, permanent right of residence or permanent right of use: 15 to 150 euros.
