License plate: Additional plate for bicycle carrier or load
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzIf the rear license plate is completely or partially obscured by a load carrier or load being carried, a third license plate must be attached to the vehicle. The third license plate (additional license plate) does not have to be stamped or have a sticker indicating the next general inspection.

There are no fees. However, there are costs for the purchase of the license plate.
