LIF – Learning during holidays

The participating (district) adult education centres organize the offer locally in close consultation with the schools and school authorities. Registration for LiF takes place via the child's school or via the local (district) adult education center.

The LiF website of the Ministry of Education provides general information and materials on LiF for parents and guardians, pupils, schools, adult education centers, local authorities and anyone interested in taking part in a course:

Please contact the local (district) adult education centre or your child's school.

• As a rule, the courses take place every week in the amount of 15 to 20 teaching units.
• The course size is usually between 8 and 12 participants.
• Registration takes place via the school or the (district) adult education centre on site.
• The exact period of the courses is determined by the adult education centres in close consultation with the schools and the school authorities. In principle, the summer and autumn holidays are available for the offers.

The (district) adult education centre on site provides information on whether learning materials are provided or whether the children and young people's own learning materials are used in the LiF courses.

To participate in LiF, a binding registration via the school or adult education center is required.

The deadlines depend on the organization on site, which is carried out by the respective (district) adult education center.
