View evaporative cooling systems, cooling towers and wet separators

The display is made via the "Cadastre for the detection of evaporative cooling systems 42. BImSchV – KaVKA" .

To display an attachment, registration in the KaVKA-42.BV system is required first. After successful registration, the master data of the workplace (the location of the plant) and the plant can be recorded and the notification transmitted to the competent authority.

Responsibility lies with the Structural and Approval Directorate North or Structural and Approval Directorate South.

The State Office for Geology and Mining is responsible for mining companies.

The operator of a new installation shall notify the competent authority of the latter no later than one month after the first filling with useful water.

Existing installations had to be notified to the competent authority no later than one month after 19 July 2018.

Changes to the plant, plant shutdown and operator change must be notified without delay and at the latest within one month.
