Filing an objection
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzThe appeal is the first step in legal protection against most decisions of authorities that you can take. With the objection, you initiate the appeal procedure, in which the decision of the authority is re-examined for its legality and expediency. In this context, the term pre-litigation procedure is often used.
As a rule, the objection has suspensive effect. This means that the administrative act cannot be executed as long as the appeal procedure is ongoing. In addition, opposition proceedings are regularly a prerequisite for the opening of legal proceedings.
