Take over parental contribution
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzProviders of daycare facilities that are part of the demand plan charge parental contributions to cover a proportion of the personnel costs for the support of school children and children who have not yet reached the age of two.
A separate fee is charged for lunch and meals for all children.
Parental contributions are set by the local public youth welfare authority, i.e. the responsible youth welfare office.
If the payment of a parental contribution is not reasonable for the individual (e.g. because the parents' income is too low), the parental contribution will be waived or paid by the local youth welfare office upon application.
Parents who have registered their children for a crèche or an after-school care center must generally pay a contribution. However, you can apply for a calculation of the reasonable burden. We will then carry out an income check using a calculation in accordance with § 90 Paragraph 3 and 4 SGB VIII.
Depending on the result, the contribution will be set according to the cost table for crèche and after-school care contributions, reduced or covered. In the case of a takeover, the parents do not have to pay anything; in the case of a reduction, they pay a reduced contribution as otherwise provided for in the corresponding income category.
