Set parental contribution

Your contact is the responsible youth welfare office in your district or town.

Parental contributions are set by the responsible youth welfare office. The voluntary welfare associations must be consulted before the fees are set.

• The parental contributions must be graduated. Criteria for the scale can be, for example:the income of the parents,
• the number of children entitled to child benefit in the family
• the daily care time of the child

For families with low/no income, the parental contribution can be reduced or waived completely. See the information on "Parental contribution waiver"

A separate fee is charged for lunch and meals in daycare facilities.
