Apply for municipal funding for associations

- Financial support includes, for example, grants for construction measures or per member
- Material subsidies are, for example, discounts or free use of premises or sports facilities
The amount of support is individual.
The clubs make a considerable contribution to the socialization, integration and bonding of citizens in their own local community. They convey team spirit, a sense of community and fairness through their ongoing work with senior citizens, children and young people. The municipality of Gerolstein supports the work of senior citizens and young people in the clubs with its subsidy guidelines and thus gives people the opportunity to be active in the club, to get involved in voluntary work and to strengthen the common good.
By providing financial support in accordance with the available budget funds, the Gerolstein municipality facilitates and enables this important work, which must be regarded as irreplaceable. In doing so, it is sending a signal towards sustainability and securing the future. The maintenance and promotion of sport and play as well as work with senior citizens and young people are recognized as an important task of the municipality.
The municipality supports the construction of new facilities and extensions as well as major repairs to facilities for senior citizens and young people, sports facilities and other facilities apart from children's playgrounds. This support is also provided in fulfillment of the equalization function in accordance with Section 67 (7) of the Municipal Code (GemO).
