Please note that it is not possible to determine for sure on the phone whether the caller is really the person she claims to be. Therefore, the employees of the German pension insurance are instructed to provide data on insured persons and pensioners on the phone only if the "authenticity" of the caller has been reliably established. Otherwise, only general legal information will be provided by telephone.
No notifications of changes, such as changes of address or bank details, can be accepted over the telephone. Forms for such notifications of changes are available for you on the website of the German Pension Insurance. You can also make the changes online via the Online Services section.
