Private households - assessment bases

• In principle, each household is allocated a residual waste container for inhabited properties subject to mandatory connection.
• The size of the waste container is determined by the number of household members.
  A household member is any person who is actually present on the property regardless of the obligation to register.
• The minimum volume per household member is 7.5 liters per week.
• If this container volume is not sufficient, a container with a larger volume can be requested.
• The residual waste containers are collected every 4 weeks.
• Note: For the disposal of properties on which waste from both private households and other areas of origin is generated (mixed-use properties in accordance with §13 Para. 5 of the Waste Statutes), where the containers selected for the residential purpose are objectively sufficient for the disposal of all waste, the monthly or annual fee is based on the household size in accordance with Para. 1 plus an annual fee of €10.00.
