Operation of systems requiring monitoring in accordance with the Industrial Safety Ordinance Check inspection before first commissioning

Upon receipt of a complaint or an indication that the required tests have not been carried out on an installation requiring monitoring, the competent authority in turn initiates an inspection with the employer or operator.

Please contact the Commercial Department of the Structure and Approval Directorate North (northern Rhineland-Palatinate) or Structure and Approval Directorate South (southern Rhineland-Palatinate) if they are not mining sites.

The complaint is informal, can be made by telephone, e-mail or in writing. The following information is required (if known) for processing:

• Type of installations requiring monitoring
• Time of commissioning
• Information about the employer / operator
• Information on how the information on the lack of examination was obtained by the complainant

Timely examination, no feedback to the complainant, therefore no processing time.
