Apply for an additional copy of the Community license or certificate of authorization for the carriage of goods by road for hire or reward
Source: BUS Rheinland-PfalzWhen the permit for commercial road haulage or the Community license is issued, you will generally receive as many copies or certified copies as there are vehicles available.
If the number of vehicles increases after the permit or Community license has been issued and additional copies or certified copies are therefore required, you can apply to the competent transport authority for them to be issued.
In such a case, a complete application procedure for issuing the permit is not required.
However, if necessary, a new equity and/or additional certificate must be submitted to prove financial capacity. The entrepreneur requires equity capital of EUR 5,000 for each additional vehicle. This also applies to the use of rental vehicles.
If the vehicle fleet is permanently reduced, you are obliged to return the surplus permits to the issuing licensing authority.
If you cease your transport operations permanently, the permit and all copies or the joint license and all certified copies must be returned to the licensing authority immediately.
